that was my first quiz in this series. How'd you
like it? Typing on a laptop is wierd, lol. My
hand will randomly brush against the mouse pad
and i'll start typing in the middle of the
previous page. Do you know what i'm talking
about? lol, i'm wierd, i know it.

really long story and awfully complicated. I
tried to think of a way to explaining it to
her. I shook my head and stopped thinking.
"It's too complicated. Let's just say we
didn't have a very good relationship when we
were younger." I was saved from
elaborating when Jackie and Caroline's mother
called for them. They waved to me and left the
kitchen. I congratulated on her baby. Aunt
Julie told me that since a lot of people were
coming down for the baby anyway, she might as
well make it a family reunion. That's why
everyone was here at once.
I went into the living room and was instantly
bombarded with old second cousins, great aunts
and some ladies I had never seen before.
"Do you remember me?" They would ask
in a high pitched voice. "Last time I saw
you, you were this big!" They would put
their hand down below their hip, indicating
that I was probably around the age of three
last time I saw them. I shook my head and
forced a polite smile.
For the next hour I barely paid any attention to
what was happening around me. Some lady named
Edna was hanging on my arm and rambling about
something. I can't even remember what she was
talking about; I just nodded at appropriate
times.
I felt a hand on my shoulder as Pierre walked
around me and smiled at Edna. "Do you
mind if I borrow Kaleen?" he asked
sweetly. Edna smiled really wide and nodded
her head. Pfft, she was enchanted by him with
one sentence. Pierre took my elbow and led me
through the living room and foyer and out the
front door. He let go of me when we got on the
front porch. "What?" I asked. He
was looking at me strangely.

My friend, Jessica(from the story!), has read my
stories finally. She thinks I should have done
a David story. I do agree, David is a hottie
(major!) but Pierre worked better for the story
line I think.

Two year olds are finicky creatures. Even though
the rain hadn't bothered him all that much when
we first left it did now. Jordan began to
scream and cry right out of the blue.
I carried the wailing child upstairs to where his
crying mother was lying on a bed.
She embraced her child gratefully despite the wet
clothes, despite the wailing, despite
everything. She was just happy to have her son
back safe in sound in her arms.
"Thank You," she whispered at me.
I smiled. I slipped out of the room quietly and
shut the door to allow her a little privacy.
Joining Pierre, who was watching TV, I curled
up into a small ball next to him.
Pierre kissed the top of my head, "That was a
nice thing you did."
"He didn't deserve a good kid like that after
treating his wife like that. I'm really sorry
that our date didn't turn out."
"It's fine. You'll just have to think of
something else."
"Wait, so now I have to think of two ideas?
This sucks."
"Ha, deal with it, loser."
I snuggled closer even though he was being mean. I
took the remote control away from him and
changed the channel. While watching TV,
inspiration struck me like a lightening bolt
from above.
Ow.
"You know Pierre, I have a perfect idea."
A smile of realization swamped my
features.
Pierre's eyebrows knit together as he asked
worriedly, "Should I be
scared?"
I shrugged, "Maybe you
should."

"Well isn't that a nice way to answer the
phone," commented David wryly.
"Oh... Sorry David. I just had a talk with my
mom about leaving me behind."
"Yikes, I bet that was an interesting and
uh... eventful conversation."
I agreed wholeheartedly. "She accused Pierre
of cheating on me, just because he's famous.
That even if he didn't mean it, it would still
happen when he got drunk on tour
sometime," I confided.
"Pierre wouldn't do something like that. I'm
not saying he won't make a mistake every now
and then but I don't think he'd go that
far."
I nodded even though he couldn't see it.
"That's what I said. I don't know why my
mom is so upset about me dating
him."
"Speaking of dating... that's why I called in
the first place."
"Yeah, I know."
"Anyway, I got the stuff you wanted me
to."
"How is it?" I asked curiously.
"It's great. You'll love it."
"The question isn't whether I like it. Will
Pierre like all of it?"
"Pierre will die when he sees all of it,"
he assured me. "Are you ready for me to
bring it all over?"
"Of course I am. I'll be
waiting."

meeting. I was going to be mad at him for
ditching but I changed my mind."
"Yeah, David was here. He brought everything
I needed for tonight and helped me out a
little."

I'm sorry that I haven't written in such a long
time. School has been really hard. I also
don't know what to write most of the time.
Also, I was planning on ending this story a
long time ago so this wasn't to just end it.
Hopefully I'll be able to go a little faster in
the weeks to come.
